Health Insurance and Payment Policies
At Compadre Therapy, we are committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care. To help us maintain our standards and offer the best possible experience, we ask that payment be made before each session. We do not accept cash; however, major credit cards are accepted. These payments include any unmet deductibles, co-insurance, co-payments, or charges not covered by your health insurance plan.
Health Insurance
We participate with several major insurance plans and will file claims with these providers on your behalf. A list of the insurance plans we work with is available upon request.
Please remember that while we assist with insurance claims, the insurance contract is ultimately between you and your provider, and responsibility for payment rests with you. We’re here to help navigate this process and answer any questions about coverage.


Missed Appointments
We understand that life can be unpredictable, and sometimes, appointments must be rescheduled. However, missed appointments cost us, you, and other patients who could have been seen during that time.
We understand that unexpected situations can arise, and we’re here to support you whenever possible. If you need to cancel or reschedule, we kindly ask for at least 24 business hours’ notice so we can offer that time to another patient in need. For appointments missed or canceled without this notice, a fee of $175.00 for regular sessions or $350.00 for initial evaluations may apply, as these charges cannot be covered by insurance.
Consistency is key to effective therapy, and frequent cancellations may affect our ability to provide ongoing care. Thank you for helping us maintain a supportive and timely environment for all our patients.
